2. Information we collect
When you request a wholesale catalogue or submit a sourcing enquiry, we may collect your name, business/shop name where provided, email address, country/market, buyer profile, website/store/social link where provided, product/category interests, selected SBN product references, approximate requirement, buying timeline, sourcing brief, phone/mobile number, WhatsApp number where provided, preferred response method, private-label interest and optional marketing preference.
We may also record campaign and technical context such as UTM parameters, ad click identifiers, landing page, referring page, submission time and coarse country information supplied by our hosting/security infrastructure. We do not ask you to submit card details or other payment credentials through the catalogue form.
3. Why we use this information
We use submitted information to validate B2B catalogue requests, send relevant current catalogues through the requested contact route, respond to enquiries, understand sourcing requirements, prepare relevant wholesale follow-up, maintain business enquiry history, prevent abuse, improve website performance and measure buyer-journey effectiveness where optional analytics measurement is permitted.
If you separately opt in to business updates, we may use your contact details for relevant SBN India wholesale collection or business updates. A catalogue request itself is not presented as blanket consent for unrelated promotional marketing.
4. Lawful grounds and buyer-requested processing
Depending on the jurisdiction and the activity, our processing may rely on one or more recognised grounds: taking steps at your request before a potential B2B transaction, our legitimate interests in responding to relevant business enquiries and maintaining secure business systems, consent for optional marketing or optional measurement where required, and compliance with legal or recordkeeping obligations.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the business purpose, necessity and impact on the individual. Consent-based processing can be withdrawn where applicable without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
5. Business contacts and direct outreach
SBN India may conduct relevant B2B business development using professional or business contact details obtained directly from a person, from an organisation, or from public/professional business sources where applicable law permits that use. These sources can include a business website, professional directory, marketplace/store page or public business/social profile. Rules for unsolicited email, telephone and messaging differ by country and by the type of recipient.
We aim to identify ourselves clearly, keep outreach relevant to a business context, respect applicable consent, subscriber-type and calling-screening requirements, and provide or honour appropriate ways to object, opt out or request no further contact. Where privacy law requires transparency for business-contact data obtained indirectly, we aim to provide the relevant privacy information within the applicable period and, where appropriate, by the first communication. If you ask us not to use your contact details for direct marketing, we may retain limited suppression information so we can honour that request in future.
6. Your choices and objections
You may ask us to correct information, request access or deletion where applicable, object to direct marketing, withdraw a marketing preference, or ask us to stop contacting you through a particular channel. Where applicable, you may also have the right to complain to the data-protection or privacy authority responsible for your location.
7. Who may process information for us
Our website may use service providers for hosting/security, enquiry processing, business communications and related operations. Current infrastructure includes Cloudflare for website delivery/security and may include Google services or Google Apps Script for processing and recording submitted enquiries, and FormSubmit for relaying submitted enquiry details to our wholesale inbox. Google Analytics 4 is used only after analytics consent is granted through the website privacy controls. If you choose to contact us using WhatsApp, that communication is also subject to WhatsApp/Meta's service terms and privacy practices. The website uses Tawk.to to provide the native live-chat widget. Tawk.to may process technical/session information and use cookies, local storage or similar technologies needed to provide and remember the chat service, as well as information you choose to provide in a chat, under its own service and privacy terms.
Paytm may be offered later in an approved India wholesale transaction as a third-party domestic payment option where applicable, and Payoneer may be offered for an approved international B2B transaction where applicable. The website buyer-access form does not collect or transmit your payment credentials to Paytm or Payoneer.
8. International processing
Because we operate from India and may work with service providers or buyers in other countries, business information can be processed across borders. Where specific transfer safeguards are required by applicable law, those requirements should be addressed for the relevant processing arrangement.
9. Retention
We keep enquiry and business-contact information only for as long as reasonably needed for the business relationship, enquiry history, legal/recordkeeping requirements, security and appropriate follow-up. Suppression records may be kept longer where necessary to make sure an objection or unsubscribe request continues to be respected.
10. Cookies and local storage
Essential cookies or browser storage may be used for sourcing-list functionality, including selected SKUs/configurations, requested quantities and accessory packs stored on the buyer's device, as well as form continuity and privacy preferences. Google Analytics 4 is configured for website measurement but is not loaded until analytics consent is granted through our privacy choices. Advertising measurement is not currently configured. 11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the website and B2B enquiry workflow. No internet system is risk-free. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information or payment credentials through general enquiry fields.
